Your Uganda gorilla adventure begins with an early morning departure from Kampala or Entebbe. Enjoy a scenic drive through Uganda’s countryside, passing beautiful landscapes, local villages, rolling hills, and farmlands as you journey towards southwestern Uganda.
Along the way, you may stop at the Equator for photos and continue through the picturesque landscapes known as the “Switzerland of Africa.” Upon arrival near Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, check into your lodge, relax, and prepare for the exciting gorilla trekking experience ahead.

Day 2: Bwindi Gorilla Trekking & Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
After an early breakfast, prepare for the most exciting moment of your safari the Uganda gorilla trekking experience.
You will receive a briefing from Uganda Wildlife Authority guides before entering the ancient Bwindi rainforest. Guided by experienced trackers, hike through dense vegetation, listening for the sounds of the forest as you search for a habituated mountain gorilla family.
Once you find the gorillas, spend a magical hour watching them interact, feed, play, and move through their natural environment. This rare wildlife encounter creates memories that last a lifetime.
