→ Day 1: Arriving in Kigali, Rwanda
When you arrive at Kigali International Airport our guide from Sarit Gorilla Safari will be there to greet you and take you to your accommodation, in Kigali.
Take some time to unwind and refresh. In the afternoon explore the city of Kigali by visiting markets, museums and cultural sites.
Discover Rwandas rich history, culture and the resilience of its people.
Indulge in a dinner at your hotel before resting up for the safari adventure that awaits.
→ Day 2: Exploring Kigali City and touring to Volcanoes National Park
Start your day with a breakfast before begining on a guided tour of city. Visit landmarks like the Kigali Genocide Memorial to pay your respects and learn about Rwandas history. Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of markets, art galleries and craft centers where you can support talented artisans and find unique souvenirs.
In the afternoon make your way to Volcanoes National Park situated in Rwanda. Once you arrive at this park check in, at your lodge.
Relax amidst its stunning surroundings. Enjoy a dinner as you prepare for a gorilla trekking experience scheduled for the next day.
→ Day 3 And Day 4; Gorilla Trekking, in Volcanoes National Park
Rise and shine in the morning enjoy a breakfast and then make your way to the park headquarters. There you’ll receive a briefing about gorilla trekking that includes information about the gorilla groups you’ll be visiting and guidelines on how to approach them respectfully in their natural environment. Accompanied by a guide and tracker begin on an exciting tour through the rainforest as you search for these majestic creatures. The duration of the trek can vary depending on where the gorilla family’s located. Encountering these gentle giants makes every step worthwhile.
