Detailed Itinerary
→ Day 1: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest national park – Canopy walkway
On the first day of your 25 Days Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania Safari, depending on your location in Kigali, you will be met by our safari guide and embark on your journey to Nyungwe forest national park which is a 6-7 hours’ drive from Kigali with en-route early lunch. Proceed to the park and connect for the 2 pm canopy walk experience.
You will go on a walking trail that will take you to the Canopy Walk a swing bridge 50 meters in length that is suspended from large trees; you will be able to see the amazing rainforest with a bird’s eye view, spotting wildlife moving below you.

→ Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking and waterfalls visit
Enjoy breakfast and go for a briefing about the endangered chimpanzees before entering the forest in search of the active and playful fellows in Nyungwe forest with your backpack.
The Chimpanzees are much easier to spot as they jump from one tree to another, chattering and laughing.
Chimpanzee tracking usually takes about 3-5 hours depending on their location. On finding them, spend an hour while taking pictures and videos.
Later afternoon, connect for the waterfalls visit and sights of different birds and primates.

→ Day 3: Explore Colobus monkeys – Transfer to Volcanoes national park
Enjoy breakfast and go for briefing about the primates before entering the forest in search of the active and playful fellows in Nyungwe forest.
The colobus monkeys are much playful and it may not be so easy to spot as they jump from one tree to another, chattering and laughing.
These primates also enable you to see other primates and usually takes about 3 hours. On finding them, spend an hour while taking pictures and videos.
After tracking, continue on your safari to Volcanoes national park – home to the Rwanda gorillas and golden monkeys. It’s a 7 hours’s drive with en-route views and lunch. Upon arrival late afternoon, connect to your lodge for relaxation dinner and overnight stay at

→ Day 4: Transfer from Queen Elizabeth to Bwindi Forest
After breakfast, and begin your journey to Bwindi going through the Ishasha sector with a glance at the climbing lions and many other wildlife species.
Along the way you will enjoy nice landscape views. Have lunch en-route; arrive at the Park/lodge in the afternoon. Enjoy dinner and an Overnight.

→ Day 5: Golden Monkey Trekking and cultural tour
You will have breakfast and report back to the park headquarters where you will get a ranger guide and start your golden monkey trek in volcanoes national park.
This is a rather short experience that can last an hour or three hours. After spending time with the golden monkeys, you will go and have lunch then after connect to enjoy Ibyi’wachu cultural tour.

→ Day 6: Transfer to Kigali – Kigali city tour
On the 5th day of your 25 Days Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania Safari, enjoy breakfast at leisure and transfer back to Kigali.
You will go for a city tour where you will visit the Kimironko market and the Kigali genocide memorial site with en-route lunch and a covid-19 test
(this test is required before your flight to next destination).

→ Day 7: Transfer to Kibale National Park – Bigodi swamp
After breakfast, you will transfer to Kibale National park- the best safari destinations in Africa for chimpanzee tracking. Arrive early afternoon for lunch in Fort portal town, visit the crater lakes and go for a 2-3 hours’ nature walk in Bigodi swamp and experience the different birds and primates.
The reserve is abundant with butterflies, plants, animals and, in particular, birds. Spectacular birds like Great Blue Turaco and rare Papyrus Gonolek will be of great interest to birders.
The swamp is also home to more elusive animals such as Red Colobus monkeys and Sitatunga antelope. There is also the opportunity to visit local community projects that have been financed by tourism. Thereafter, drive to check-in your lodge.

→ Day 8: Explore Chimpanzee habituation experience
Have breakfast very early and later transfer to the park head office for a briefing about the endangered chimpanzees and later enter the forest with the guidance of a park ranger along with your tracking gears, packed water and snacks. This trekking is a whole day experience.
On finding the primates, you will spend 4 hour viewing them while studying their behavior and taking pictures.
After tracking, return to the lodge for relaxation.

→ Day 9: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park - Game Drive and Boat Cruise
After breakfast, embark on your journey to Queen Elizabeth national park, it’s a 3-4 hours’ drive arriving there at good time for lunch.
Later afternoon, you will go for a launch cruise along Kazinga channel where you will get an opportunity to see a number of bird species, elephants and buffalos, hippos and crocodiles at the lake shores.
Later afternoon enjoy an evening game drive in the Kasenyi area where you will encounter some of the park’s residents like the lions, antelopes, buffaloes, elephants, warthogs and waterbucks just to mention a few.

→ Day 10: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
On the 10th day of your 25 Days Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania Safari, you will wake up early, have breakfast, and embark on your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable national park. It’s a 5-7 hours’ drive depending on your gorilla trekking location.

→ Day 11: Full Day Mountain Gorilla Trekking
After enjoying an early breakfast and transfer to park headquarters for the briefing before you set off gorilla trekking. Trekking through the steep, densely forested hills and then finally coming across the gorillas camouflaged in the vegetation is an inspiring and privileged moment.
Tracking in the Bwindi forest requires stamina and can often take most of the day and spend an hour in the presence of the gorillas before you return at your meeting point with the driver-guide to return to the lodge.

After breakfast, start your journey back to Kampala/Entebbe with an en-route stop at the Equator and lunch. It’s an 8-9 hours’ drive to Kampala/Entebbe.
Upon arrival, check-in at your booked hotel in Entebbe after taking a Covid-19 test.

→ Day 13: Fly to Maasai Mara National park
On the 13th day of your 25 Days Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania Safari, after early morning breakfast, connect for your flight departing for Entebbe airport at 12:15 and arriving at 14:30 am in Maasai Mara national park.
On arrival, you will be your safari guide and embark to connect to your lodge in Masai Mara national park for dinner and overnight stay.

→ Day 14: Full day in Maasai Mara
After breakfast, full day in the park with packed lunch in search of its popular residents, The Maasai Mara plains are full of wildebeest during migration season early July to end September however, they are not guaranteed to view, zebra, impala, topi, giraffe, Thomson’s gazelle are regularly seen, the leopards, lions, hyenas, cheetah, jackal and bat-eared foxes can also be seen. Black rhino are a little shy and hard to spot but are often seen at a distance if you are lucky.
Hippos are abundant in the Mara River as are very large Nile crocodiles, which lay in wait for a meal as the wildebeest cross on their annual quest to find new pastures.

Early morning breakfast and enter the gates of Maasai Mara for a game drive that will get you quite close to different wildlife species in big numbers.
From solitary buffaloes to copulating lions, birds and small game of all types; you will see it all on a game drive in Maasai Mara! Return to the lodge for lunch and relax from the scorching sun. In the evening, go for another game drive.

→ Day 16: Transfer to Nairobi City
On the 16th day of your 25 Days Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania Safari, after breakfast, transfer to Nairobi with an en-route stop at the Maasai market for a Masai Cultural experience where you can purchase Maasai savors and also have lunch there then proceed to Nairobi city,
visit the elephant orphanage and the giraffe park.

→ Day 17: Transfer to Amboseli national park
After breakfast, check-out of the hotel; meet by your guide to transfer to Amboseli national park. It’s a 5-6 hours’ drive with en-route lunch. Amboseli national park is famous for its scenery with a close view of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, which dominates the landscape, and open plains.
Arrive at late afternoon with more game drive as you drive to your lodge. Animals like the well-known predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, hippo with a view of Mt Kilimanjaro may be spotted.
