This is a 3 days tour to Queen Elizabeth National Park which is one of the outstanding treasures of Uganda, and has been designated a Biosphere Reserve for humanity under UNESCO auspices. You’ll get see the tree climbing lions usually found in Ishasha, a vast array of Ugandan wildlife like elephant, buffalo, hippo, Uganda kob, buck and antelope, as well as baboon and chimpanzee. Over 600 bird species have also been identified here.

Queen Elizabeth National Park is Uganda’s most popular savannah reserve and has the widest variety of wildlife of any Ugandan park. The variety of habitats includes grassland savannah, forests, wetlands and lakes. This provides the setting for an extensive range of large mammals and primates. Four of the Big Five are present (rhino are absent) and chimp tracking is available.

Detailed Itinerary
→ Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth with Evening view game drive

Wilderness in Queen Elizabeth National Park
Breakfast for day one will be provided at the Hotel or your place of residence, followed by a meet, greet and briefing on thof e 3 days Queen Elizabeth Wildlife Safari by our driver at 7:00 am. You will then begin the 5-6 hours’ journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park through the Towns of Masaka, Mbarara, & others.
There will be a number of stopovers including at the Uganda Equator along Masaka road where you will be able to stand in both the northern, And southern hemispheres and also experiment how water swirls in different directions when placed in the northern and southern hemispheres, take photos and even buy some of the beautiful souvenirs.
After your meals, proceed with the journey and as you approach Bushenyi, you will be welcomed by the coolest air ever experienced in Uganda as well as the lush tea plantations on the hilly slopes of Igara and Ishaka, through the Kalinzu Forest Reserve until Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Head straight to lodge, relax as you wait for the evening game drive.
→ Day 2: Amazing morning game drive and boat cruise along Kazinga channel with crater lakes
Start the day with an early game drive that exposes us to diverse animals, Big 5 member Elephants, Buffaloes, big cats- Lions, Leopards more times in the evening, warthogs- Hunchback carnivals like Hyenas are spotted along the Circuits as we drive along the and many more species that are residents to this park. There is a rich bird life especially our version of storks in the wetland spots as we reach the Flamingoes in the salt lakes at Kasenyi.
After lunch we get ready for the Classic highlights on the 2hrs Boat cruise on the famous Kazinga channel, a 36kms channel linking Lake George – Lake Edward. Here you see land and water Adapted Hippopotamuses Yawning, the National Geographical society killing machine the Nile crocodile gaping along the Banks and Savannah version of Pigs the Warthog- Pumba are a hallmark sign in this Animal home.
With your Binoculars along the peninsula you have a magnificent view of Birds, animals like the ever-playing African Elephants in Waters.
→ Day 3: Chimp Trekking in Kyambura Gorge & transfer back to Entebbe
