5 Days Murchison Falls & Bwindi Gorilla Safari in Uganda (Big Five + Gorilla Trekking)

Rhino Tracking at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

After an early breakfast, our driver guide will pick you up from your hotel at 07:00hours, he will
also brief you about your 5 Days safari to Murchison falls and you will start your 6 hours
journey to Murchison Falls National Park You will go through the Luwero, and later have a
stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino tracking; here you will find both black and white
rhinos. After tracking have another stop in Masindi where you will have lunch, after lunch
proceed to the park, after making payments for park entry drive towards the top of the falls,
here along the way you will see various animals such as warthogs, baboons among others.
Being at the top of the falls is an amazing experience as you will watch the magnificent falls
squeezing through the rocks in an 8m gorge. Take as many photos as you can. Later drive to
the lodge, relax the whole evening, have dinner and an overnight.

Top of the Falls Hike

On this day wake up early and have breakfast at 6:00hours, after your driver and the guide will
pick you up from the lodge to start your Game drive at 6:30hours. During the drive you will be
in position to see very many animals such as lions, Leopards, buffaloes, giraffes, elephants,
antelopes, water bucks and birds among others.
After the game drive at around 10:00hours, drive back to the lodge, relax/freshen up and have
lunch as you prepare for the afternoon boat cruise. On the boat you will be able to see various
Nile crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes, elephants along the banks of the Nile as well as different
beautiful birds some singing in the trees such as the bee eaters, the colored kingfishers, the
shoe billed stork and many others. The boat ride will take you to the base/bottom of the
Murchison Falls, when you reach here you will be able to see clearly the mighty waterfalls
Called Murchison Falls Along the Albert Nile.
After the Boat Cruse, Later drive to the lodge, relax the whole evening, have dinner and an
overnight.

Breakfast well packed up to head to yet another exciting destination. We will transfer to Bwindi
Forest national park, home of the rare apes the mountain gorillas. Enjoy the scenic drive that it
will turn out to be all the way to Bwindi, as you will spot the great Lake Albert, the Rwenzori
ranges, Kibale forest, the beautiful Lakes George and Edward and the various local communities
you will pass through on arrival stay overnight.

Rise as early as possible to grab your trekking gears and breakfast not forgetting your packed
lunch plus drinking water, head on for briefing that takes place at 8:00am, ready to trek the
gorillas in the thick impenetrable forest of Bwindi you will be allocated a family to track and on
finding them during the search You get to spend an hours’ time with the gorillas.
Depending on how you feel after the trek and how much time is left you could engage in
another activity it could be a nature walk to the Batwa community thereafter head back to the
lodging to freshen up dinner and then a night’s rest.

After breakfast, you will drive to Kampala/Entebbe for your post tour accommodation (not included) or to Entebbe International Airport for your international departure flight. [End Of Safari]
