Pick up from Entebbe airport and driven to your accommodation where you can choose to look around Kampala and take a drink at one of the many café or restaurants or simply relax as you will be leaving early in the morning for your safari! An evening meal is provided and breakfast in the morning before setting off for your adventure of a lifetime.

Breakfast will be provided at the hotel or your place of residence, followed by a meet, greet and briefing on our 7 Days safari by our assigned Guide/Driver. There will be a number of stopovers including at the Uganda Equator along Masaka road. Here you will be able to stand in both the northern and southern hemispheres and also experiment how water swirls in different directions when placed in the northern and southern hemispheres. Take photos and even buy some of the beautiful souvenirs.

Start the day with early game drives that expose us to diverse animals including the Big Five—elephants, buffaloes, big cats- lions, leopards, and rhinos. More times in the evening, warthogs, hunchback carnivals like hyenas are spotted along the circuits as we drive along, and many more species that are residents to this park. There is a rich birdlife especially our version of storks in the wetland spots as we reach the flamingoes in the salt lakes at Kasenyi.
Enjoy a boat cruise on the famous Kazinga Channel, a 36km channel linking Lake George and Lake Edward. Here you’ll see land and water adapted hippos yawning, the National Geographical society killing machine, the Nile crocodile, gaping along the banks and savannah version of pigs, the warthog-Pumba are a hallmark sign in this animal home. With your binoculars along the peninsula, you’ll have a magnificent view of birds and animals like the ever-playing African elephants in waters.

Start the day with Breakfast, drive through the park to Ishasha sector where you will do a game drive looking for tree climbing Lions on the Ishasha side of the park, Elephants, Leopards, Buffaloes, Hyenas and an assortment of antelopes.
Later have lunch and proceed the journey to Bwindi National Forest where you are expected to arrive in the evening.
Overnight: Bakiga Lodge (Full board).

Have breakfast and with parked lunch, go for Gorilla tracking 4 to 5 hrs. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park inhabits almost half of the world’s 650 mountain gorillas. Start climbing early with a tracker even though seeing gorillas depends on their day’s movements. Gorillas are naturally reserved and non-violent animals. And it’s a memorable and thrilling moment to watch them and possibly photograph these mild giants at a close range. After the gorilla trek, the guide will transfer you to Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation. You may do a boat canoe on the lake (Price not included).
Enjoy a relaxed evening as you sip a cold drink and later have dinner and overnight at Birdnest Resort Bunyonyi (Full board).

Uganda Gorilla Trekking

After breakfast, we visit the distinctive Batwa and Abaheesi local communities. After lunch, we get a tour of the Bukora caves and a relaxing canoeing experience on this awesome Lake.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Lake Bunyonyi (“Place of many little birds”) is in south-western Uganda between Kisoro and Kabale, close to the border with Rwanda.
The lake appeared from 2004 to 2009 on the USh 5,000/= note under the title “Lake Bunyonyi and terraces”.
Scientific literature generally quotes a maximum depth of 40 m (130 ft), but some tourist guides and locals insist that it is much deeper, about 900 m (3,000 ft), which would make it the second-deepest lake in Africa
Bags all packed up ready to head for Kampala you will eat breakfast and check out of the hotel jump in the car and start your journey to Kampala with lunch en route, you will be in Kampala in the afternoon and head straight to the airport to catch you next flight back home thus the end of our safari.
